Cedrick the Barber
I, Cedric, The Barber am a licensed barber with several years of
experience. I first started cutting hair as a teenager in my
neighborhood back in Chicago, my hometown. After graduating from high
school, I focused my attention on academics and graduated from Kalamazoo
Community College with an Associates Degree in Communications. It soon
became apparent that the traditional route of education was not my gift;
I decided to return to my original love of barbering.

My formal career began at A Touch of Class Barber College,
where I was taught under some of the best barbers and hair stylists in the
state. After receiving my license in Illinois, I began my profession at Roz's
Barber Shop on the south side of Chicago where I honed my skills and perfected
the use of the razor. After relocating to Seattle and obtaining my Washington
license, I was blessed to be offered the barber position at Good Hair Salon
where I have been introduced to the natural hair lifestyle.
Since fulfilling my lifelong dream of becoming a licensed barber, it has been
a priority of mine to use my skills to give back to the community. While in
Chicago, I was given the opportunity to barber at a long term care facility for
children with developmental disabilities. In Seattle, I volunteer my time and
services to the Leonard Weaver Foundation, which hosts several events throughout
the year. Many think of a barber as someone who just cuts men's hair.
I am no ordinary barber; I have a unique style and skill and know the meaning
of class. Knowing the importance of quality and style, my main focus is
producing sharp precision cuts to enhance each of my client's styles and images.
